A scenic 200m(+/-) stroll down an old road with a great view of the
bluff to your right and the Osprey nest to your left. Once you have
found the cache, keep going to see some picturesque views of Jones'
Creek. You will also see large chunks of the bluff that have fallen
over the years and have interesting moss and lichen on them.
You can park on the grass strip on the north side of the road at
N 44° 29.455 W 075° 49.045 which is also the trailhead. In the winter
I would park at the edge of the south side of the road. While you
are at the trailhead, look to the north-west to see the Osprey nest
on its pole, viewing area and info board located at N44 29.417 W75 49.106.
It has been years since I have been down here but
I do believe the
road comes out at the old campground.
Don't forget my cache
"The Old Campground" is in the same neck
of the woods.
Please refrain from taking pictures of the cache location, but pictures of the cache, contents and surrounding area are ok.
Please leave the trail when you are slightly north of the cache and approach from that direction, to avoid broken glass in the area.
