SECURITY LEVEL: TOP SECRET

MISSION ORDERS

From: GroundTalk Headquarters

Distribution: Geocachers-At-Large (Eyes Only)

Ref: GCWQJ6 URADUFUS

Encl: Rest Stop Recon Field Briefing / LtCol Icenrye

cc: Lieutenant Colonel Icenrye

cc: Lance Corporal Groovy Cachin' Dude!

PURPOSE: To disseminate operational and administrative orders for personnel engaged in hostage-recovery efforts relative to GCWQJ6.

NARRATIVE BRIEF:

1. A small number of friendlies have been taken hostage by enemy insurgents.

2. Our field operatives have documented known enemy insurgents frequenting a secret remote drop site to transfer the above-mentioned to and from what is assumed to be their safe house.

3. Friendly field agents have determined a threat-level orange potential for booby-traps and/or U.S. Surplus ADSID troop movement alarms.

ACTION

SPECIFIC TASKS

1. Attend the Rest Stop Recon Field Briefing (See Enclosure Above)

2. Perform a low-level reconnaissance of the access areas, approach, boundaries, and operational theater of the drop site in question.

3. Utilizing cover and concealment, assess the security of the drop site zone in preparation for team insertion.

4. Upon assessing the drop site security threat level at yellow or below, immediately enter the drop site zone, where you will:

5. Carefully breach the drop site container (see Implied Task #1 below).

6. Extract one “hostage” or other useful item of Moderate Value.

7. Register your operative handle (issued upon enlistment), the date and time of your mission.

8. Promptly and swiftly extricate yourself and your team from the drop site area without being identified, followed, or having compromised the safe house.

9. Log your mission report on this site, making sure to leave no reference to any specific routes or other classified information here, as insurgents have been known to troll cache pages. Logs with specific insertion point information will be considered a court martial offense.

IMPLIED TASKS

1. You seek what our operatives estimate to be a painted U.S. ammunition canister.

2. You are responsible for you and your team’s successful and safe extraction from the operational theater described above.

3. Under no circumstances will you allow any potential compromise to be introduced to the drop site container.

4. In the event you are discovered by uninvolved friendlies or other non-participants, you will abort this mission and regroup in the bivouac area until the threat of mission compromise has abated.

5. Reaching the specific area of the drop site may require bushwhacking, wading, swimming, and/or floating, depending on your team's approach.

J.A.G. STATEMENT

As is becoming typical of a number of Pablo Mac caches, the terrain you will encounter on this cache hunt introduces a certain level of challenge and danger above and beyond the typical LPC (lamp post cache). Keep your eyes and ears open and maintain a steady balance during the entire mission. Wear a life vest in case you fall in. Better yet, just don't fall in.

Logs that include spoiler info of any sort will be deleted.
