**Votes were cast for best costume, which ended in a tie between Simba83 in the full body, yellow mascot costume "Doo-wop-asaurus" & the long-nosed, green-faced family member of GASP being introduced, "that's my mother-in-law, she's a witch." We flipped a TB, & the prize goes to...the witch. Congrats to G.A.S.P.36DD for best costume & FTF!!!**
Join us for a little post-Halloween get-together on Sunday, November 4th, 2012. Bring your costume!
We know Halloween is in October, but we didn't want anyone getting eaten by zombies. Ok, we admit it...we missed the deadline because we were out looking for hidden Tupperware. We'll be meeting at the Hy-Vee Food Court at 840 E 23rd St. in Fremont from 3-5 pm to play a couple of games, award a few prizes, eat some food, share TBs, & hopefully, have a little fun. The food isn't actually creepy. They serve Italian (including pizza!), Chinese, deli sandwiches, hot-n-cold salad bar, & American entrees/sides, OR you can go buy something else you like (it is a grocery store, after all). Get whatever you want, but it's on your own (sorry, we're not that rich). No purchase is required to attend.
There is only one tiny, little rule - you MUST wear a costume! Otherwise, we'll feed you to our werecats (& NO, dressing as a geocacher does NOT count!) Be creative. We're certain you can come up with something. FTF honor will go to the best costume!!! QYou may want to be nice to us, because we're judging. Bribes...oops, we mean donations are always welcome ;)
This is the 1st time we've hosted an event. Hy-Vee has cordially invited us to use their facility. Please be courteous, & let us know as soon as possible how many might be attending. It's a haunted happening you don't want to miss!
