Changes in L'Attitudes - Body By Geocache #12 Traditional Geocache

This cache has been archived.

Greatland Reviewer: Hello:

Time for a pre-winter clean-up since very little cache maintenance gets done once the snow flies.

If the owner would like to have it reinstated, please contact me through my profile within 30 days.

Please note that unarchiving a cache page requires it to go through the same review process as a newly proposed cache, using the cache placement guidelines currently in effect.

Geocache Description:

This should be a nice snow shoe or cross country ski trip in the winter, or possibly an adventurous winter bike ride and #12 in the Body By Geocache series.

This series is dedicated to getting you out into the wild and getting the heart pumping, the blood flowing through the veins and the metabolism jumping and burning some calories. Geocaching has taken me many great places and allowed me to experience a plethora of wonders and helped me lose weight and get in shape. It can do the same for you.

This cache is winter friendly and would make a great cross country ski or snow shoe trip. In the summer months this area is a bit more difficult to access. Be prepared to wade across a couple of creeks and get muddy. In the winter the tidal flats are frozen and can be approached from South Anchorage Bluff Park, John's Park, Carr-Gottstein Discovery Park, or Potter's Marsh.

There is no short access point in which to get here. Grab your snow shoes, skis, running shoes or mountain bike and head for the beach. There is no need to go into the Inlet or even go close to the Inlet in order to get this cache. Please use common sense on your approach especially in the summer months.

Don't forget to take note of what is written inside the lid of the cache as you may need it for future caches in this series.

Enjoy the hike.
