Come on down to Saxby's in Riverview and enjoy some wings, nachos, beer or pops. March 31st, 2011 from 7:00pm til kitchen closes at 10:00pm
We haven't had an evening event in a pub for a while so why not come on down and have a fun, relaxing time at Saxbys on Pineglen Rd in Riverview.
It is wing night!!
Wing night according to the Urban Dictionary.
A ceremonial and sacred evening during which many chicken wings will be eaten by a gathering of gluttonous friends. Each step of the preparation and consumption of the wings is carefully orchestrated and held holy. Deviation from tradition (i.e. inviting your girlfriend, not eating til breathing is difficult, leaving early, not toasting the first wing, not getting everyone a beer when you get up, bringing non-wing food to the gathering, de-winging during the meal) is strictly and violently forbidden.
The only consumables other than chicken wings welcome at wing night are blue cheese dressing, celery stalks, and beer - lots and lots of beer.
Another definition is;
Usually one night of the week in which a food serving establishment serves chicken wings at a reduced price, thus drawing in and allowing a large crowd solely intent on eating large quantitiies of these wings to do so without breaking the bank. Buffalo sauce, ranch, and bleu cheese are among the most popular dips served at wing nights. People gather for the same reason on wing night, making it an enjoyable atmosphere, popular with highschool and college students.
