Geocache Description:

A roadside stop at the site of a castastrophy of local religous significance. A hard cache in a public place. When you finally locate the cache please rehide it EXACTLY AS FOUND. I've even left an outline to indicate exactly where the Sistema needs to be located so that it will return to it's original hiding place. If that seems a little cryptic it'll make sense if you are successful in your search. Thanks, DJ

On June 30th 2003 the day in Nagambie started as quietly as any other. The quaint little church by the lake sat where you stand, as it had for many, many years.

As many wandered about the town late in the morning, undertaking their daily duties, sipping coffees or eating lunch, the silence was shattered by an almighty crash. A cloud of dust of biblical proportions rose from the little church.

This cache is placed at the location that was reduced to rubble by the cause of that unholy din.

The lord was clearly displeased with someone or something at Our Lady of the Lake Uniting Church and did send forth a Kenworth to bear wrath and destruction on it. Staunch Liberals believed it was clearly the work of satan as the trucking company's name was Keatings....

"Holy Truck" read the head lines the following day and the little church was nothing more than sacred rubble.

You are looking for a small cache hidden where the church used to be. This cache was hidden for the Dash for Cache 2005 Event. It could be considered a drive by, but thankfully the parking isn't metered. It is in a public place which can be very busy on a weekday, extremely busy on weekends and exceptionally busy during rowing events on the nearby lake. I thought about hiding it in the ivy on the water tower over the road, but that would have been haystacking - but maybe easier. If you aren't careful it will be muggled and your fellow competitors will be most displeased, as will I. If you find it and you may not, please read the instructions before removing it.

Best of luck.
