Waterfall Butte Traditional Geocache

This cache has been archived.

MsDelilah: Unfortunately there has been no response regarding this geocache, and sadly I am forced to archive it at this time. If at some point in the future the cache is determined to still be present or is replaced, please e-mail me via the link on my profile page. If it still meets the current guidelines, we can discuss unarchiving it at that time.

Thank you,

MsDelilah

Geocache Description:

This cache is located in one of my favorite areas. Schatzie and I love coming up here for walks, each time discovering something new. I love the “ruggedness” so close to town. This cache is at our newest discovery. As you near the site and find a path, follow it. No need to trample the vegetation. I'm told this area used to be a housing area and in the winter, the "waterfall" was lit up for Christmas. You are searching for a smallish container with a micro size log. Bring your own writing tool.

We always park at: N47*31.350 W111*16.400, however, there is closer parking further up the road for the less adventurous (not any cachers I know). Our route takes you up and down hills, through meadows and past outstanding views. Sit and watch the autumn leaves fall. Walk through the stillness as giant snowflakes blanket the earth. Notice the new life of spring. Relax in the coolness of a tree on a hot summer day. Watch for deer and eagles. Listen to the breeze blowing across the landscape and feel it against your skin. Enjoy this beautiful area.

“I only went out for a walk and finally concluded to stay out till sundown, for going out, I found, was really going in.” John Muir

Original contents are log, a geocaching sticker and a few polymer clay beads.
