J&LA: After 8 years with 2 separate night caches ending at this location, nature has finally started aggressively dismantling the cliff where this cache resides, & the drop is getting quite long. 2 large trees are now in the bottom of the creek, & this one appears to be next; expecting it to plunge into darkness anytime now. Cache removed.

Geocache Description:

This is a night cache. You will use your flashlight to illuminate reflectors that will guide you along the way. Please keep hints to a minimum & post no photos of the cache. See below for more info

We decided to archive our previous night cache, change it up a bit & remove the stages while hopefully still retaining the high D/T for your fizzy grid. Note: To be fair, FTF honors were reserved for a cacher who had NOT completed the original. Congrats to johnablick on a spooky Halloween night.

Park at the trailhead, then follow the reflectors until they stop. From the last one, walk 40 more paces & begin searching to your right. **Warning: Pay close attention to your surroundings unless you want to fall off a 20 ft cliff.** Bring a safety buddy along because getting both hands on the cache is a bit tricky, especially since you're working at night. You'll need to get a good grip on the lid & please close it tightly afterward (easier said than done). The D rating is for the hide itself & for searching in the dark. The T rating is for walking distance to/from the cache &, in particular, the final location. Stealth is nearly impossible, but do your best to arouse little suspicion. Not recommended in daylight, as the reflectors would be difficult to see (plus you'd miss out on the fun of caching here after dark).
