Ok, lets maintain the focus here…
The purpose of this cache is to show a, normally “unseen”
view.
Every one of us, travel in and out of its habitual “every day”
place without looking at it. Especially at night. If it’s a
beautiful city, at night it could have a great look.
Of course if you could find something at night, common sense
tells you that at day light it’s easier. So I’ve done my best to
conceal it. You could find it at day light, but you’re on you’re
own. The help I provide only works at night and the view deserves
to let the TV off to go there.
Also the place isn't so nice in the day light and couldn't
deserve the bother of going there, so, at night, you could ignore
it and focus in the view...<\p>
At "groud zero" you will find a flat area surrounded by bushes
and trees. Just off the bushes there is a cliff, a dangerous one.
You don’t need to pass the bushes. So stay clear of the edge. The
GPS signal is clear and steady and it points to the centre of the
area, some 100 mts above sea level. There you have some 30, (or
300?), square mts to find the conteiner. Remember you are looking
for a cache by night light. The
There are several CITO needed paths to there. One of those it's
easy to a 4x4 car every day of the year. It seems to be closed
recently, but it's a short walk and there is a path, the car path,
;).
To go to the place you will need to pass near some residential
areas and park in the vicinity of another one. Try not to upset
those that sleep. There is no news about any kind of “human” danger
in the area, but remember that at night people tend to get more
worried about “unnatural” activities. Finally take the usual and
normal precautions you take in your everyday life. Do not leave
valuables showing inside your car, park it correctly and protect
your goods with exactly the same care that you use at day
light.
1st - The difficulty rating is the official. But in fact it
does not reflect the real difficulty. My idea is more 4 or 4,5 to
the dificulty. Let me put it in other words: the first team took
4,5 hours and are composed of 3 geocachers. The second team, 5
geocachers, spend 2,5 hours. The thirth did not find it after a
couple of hours. How do I turn that in to a rating?
2nd - Don’t flood the place with light. If you do, what’s the
need to go there at night? Be gentle.
3th - High tech light emitting diodes torches are too much for
it. Try a simple incandescent one. Or two. Or more…
For that cache's log, besides finding it, you need to upload at
least a photo. Any kind, a larger view or a precise spot.
You will need to carry there a pencil and a small tool. But any
"everyday", "any pocket", "don't mind", "low-tech" one will do.
A big tkx to Pedro “Zoom_bee” Jardim. Without is help that …
“thing“… couldn’t be possible.
Atenção/Attention
Don’t go alone, don't take risks, don't trespass the bushes
and take lights, lots of lights. (...and a tripod to your
camera...)
