O’Brien County Tour is series of caches to showcase historical and/or
unique POI in O’Brien County Iowa. The caches are in no particular order.
As I remember or discover a POI that I feel would make a good cache site I
will add it to the series. I hope you enjoy the tour.
Listed as a post office in 1860 to 1862 in O'Brien County, and believed to have
been in the southeastern part of Waterman Township. The cache is about 160’
from what is believed to be the original site. I have found little information about
this PO, one of many abandoned POs of Iowa. If you have any information, please
let me know.
The cache is located next to DNR hunting land. Be aware of hunting activity during
hunting season.
