Located at the Taman Wetland Putrajaya, the hunt would be an enjoyable day out.
This geocache has been repositioned 2 times to the current coordinates as of 28th Mar 2004 and 28 February 2005. The first was owned by Cysurfer.
Taman Wetland Putrajaya is the largest constructed freshwater wetland in the tropics. Its function is as a flood control system and a natural filter system for Putrajaya Lake. Apart from providing an expansion area for recreational and education, it forms an essential part of the ecosystem. While geology, hydrology and biology have created natural wetlands, the Taman Wetland Putrajaya which is carved out from rubber and oil palm plantations, is the product of human ingenuity and technology.
The area is made up of 24 wetland cells built along the Chuah and Bisa rivers. More than 70 species of wetland plants totaling 12.3 million plants and 24 species of indegenous fish were introduced.
To get there head towards Putrajaya. The entrance is on the left as you head out of Putrajaya.
The wetlands is open 9.00am - 6.30pm daily. Bring sunscreen and mosquito repellent.
