Geocache Description:

Parking available at the South St. Paul Public Water Access parking lot. N44 52.876 W93 01.088.

If youve driven I494 over the Mississippi river lately you have been on the Wakota bridge. If you were paying attention, you have seen the beginnings of a five year construction project which will completely redefine the entire area. This cache offers an alternative, scenic viewpoint from which to observe these changes over the coming years.

A longer than average trek along paved walking/bike path with adequate rest stops including park benches & picnic tables. Follow established trails after the pavement ends. No need to bushwhack til the last 100ft.

Container is a tricolor camo'd coleman water jug. Just twist the top off. Original contents: Handwarmers, misc. kids toys, Godsmack backstage pass(used), 2oz reel oil, 2 bobbers, 2 wiffle golf balls, other assorted junk that I forget...

Dont forget to bring your checkers!
