This is a 3 stages cache hidden in a nice area of the Rhön
Mountains. The stages are not so far from each other, the whole
tour is about 8 km (1,5 km walk if you go by car). You can hike or
even you can ride by MTB, but near the caches the terrain rises
steeply. I recommend you to plan min. a half day for this hunt.
Necessary equipment a compass, the
Guiding
String, pencil and paper, binocular is optional (nice
panorama).
The given coordinate is of the 1. Stage, it is called
Stellberg. It is hidden in a hollow of a tree-trunk.
The hollow is about in 2m height. There you can find the
description and the position of 2. Stage in a small
plastic tube. You can park
your car here: N 50° 32.036’ E 9° 52.176’
Before start the hunting be sure to know what is the
COMPASS QUADRANT
BEARINGS, this is very important!
At the 2. Stage you will need the prepared
Guiding
String but not for climbing. However this stage is a
good climbing area so if you have gears do not leave at home
(instead the string you can use your rope also).
In a vitamin box you can find
the position and hint to the real treasures of The Devil’s 16
Daughters!
The real cache is a blue plastic box (20x30x8
cm) at Stage 3. wrapped into a
nylon bag.
Have fun in the hunt, good luck!
