Geocache Description:

This series of caches are located on Washburn County public land, near Leisure Lake about 10 miles NW of Spooner. Trails lead from the Parking area to the Namekagon River and back to the youth camp and lake. View map for more details here

These are stand alone caches. You will find several different sized containers and various trail conditions, allow plenty of time to do all caches in the series, bring your own pencil, bug spray, and wear blaze orange during hunting season.

Some of the trails are groomed for skiing, Please stay off the tracks! These trails lead to the banks of the Namekagon River. We highly suggest that you take time to go all the way back to the river. NOTICE*** You will be leaving Washburn county land and entering the National Park Service land. Geocaches are prohibited on NPS lands. This series is designed to bring attention to the Youth Camp and all the various activities related to it.

Please enjoy this area and respect the users of the camp if you encounter them in the Summer season.

Thanks for your interest in our caches.

All Caches are WINTER friendly and seasonal rest rooms are available near the parking area.
