Geocache Description:

The fifth cache in the Squealy's Little Bits series.

Welcome to Sands Point Preserve and Museum.

Some history:

The preserve is 216 acres and boasts a wide variety of terrain, plant and bird life. The castle above was built to look like Ireland's Kilkenny Castle. It was actually used as a stable.

There are two manor houses which usually house traveling exhibits and can be accessed for another fee. They are Hempstead House and Falaise (Norman French country house). This Gold Coast estate was owned by both the Goulds and the Guggenheims. The Goulds built Hempstead House and the Guggenheims, Falaise. Charles Lindbergh spent a lot of time at the latter.

This cache is located beyond the ever watchful gaze of Treebeard. Enjoy the beautiful grounds.
