The cache is in the north entrance of Al-Ihasa (or Al-Hasa as it is pronounced locally) and is few kilometers to the north west of the cement factory. In front of the cache (to the west of it) stands some rocks that make up what looks like a gate and hence the word in the title.
The area is accessible to 2WD cars and is only few hundred meters from the tarmac and so is the low rating for the terrain. However, because of the difficulty in getting exact fix under the rocks, you may have to look at the pictures to help orient yourself for the search (not too difficult).
I though we have dull landscape here in the eastern province and it is not interesting above ground as it is below, but this area proves me wrong. Take a look at the strange rock formations and abundant caves .. explore with caution as the rocks in some places are fragile.
