This cache is located within the Nature Trail One Mile Loop, as small trail at the end of Taylor Road.
The area by the cache has numerous beaver markings on the trees and an impressive marsh land.
Parking is available at N42 25.420, W71 27.767, end of Taylor Road, Maynard MA. Taylor Road is off of Rt 117.
Take the White (main) trail to trail end (boulders blocking path). Vear to the left and continue to follow to the Red trail (Red trail is on the right off of the White trail - its a little tricky to see, so keep your eyes open). Red trail wraps back around to the White trail.
We have experienced many animal sightings, including deer, hawks, blue heron and owls. Animal indications (tracks, feathers, spoor) are also common.
This area can be very buggy (ticks, mosquitoes, black flies and horse flys) depending on the season and time of day. Pack accordingly.
This is our first hidden cache.
