Geocache Description:

A container bigger than a film can. Camo painted. Please reseal the container snugly to insure it stays waterproof.

OK, the name is not all that original. I decided to explore the little used side trail down to Ranch Springs and came across another one of the traps that I presume are for the feral pigs that sometimes infest the area. My guess is that the rangers have placed these out here to acclimate the critters to the cages presence. Perhaps they will start using them for real at some point in the future, removing as many of these nuisance animals as possible. One could only hope. Feral pigs are my least favorite critter in these hills. I much prefer the deer and coyotes that I saw on the day the cache was placed.

Reception can be spotty under the tree cover in this area. The hint, while not a direct spoiler, should help narrow the search. There is only one spot that meets the criteria, but it will still take some careful observation and discovery.
