Geocache Description:

Finally we have been able to identify John Doe.  The victim was a bit of an outdoor hobbyist who participated in something called "Geocaching".  Something that involves hiding things in the woods for other people to find.  He went by the handle, "udoug".  From what his friends tell me, he liked to hide some pretty interesting containers, but we could find nothing that would point to anyone who might want to harm him.

We did some further investigation and found out that he had recently put out a new hide.  Something that was a bit of a puzzle to open and one of his friends mentioned that the victim had told him that he had gotten some strange emails from someone who would only sign with the initials C.S.
