There was originally a cache here placed by Henry County Heritage Trust, a group that has dedicated itself to the preservation of history in Henry County. The cache was archived a while back. I think the history of our town is important, so I am reviving the cache.
The Saunders family has been identified with the early settlement and growth of Henry county, Iowa. Presley Saunders pre-empted the land from the government in the year 1834 upon which Mount Pleasant is situated, and laid out the town of Mount Pleasant in the year 1835.
You are looking for a small lock and lock container with in the outer circle of Saunders Circle. Be warned there is a left over letter box type with a stamp book that is not the cache.Be respectful this is an old cemetery, do not hunt at night, practice CITO, and have phun :)
Congratulations to The Oxford Plodder for First To Find
