Geocache Description:

First of the Beaver Pond Series with more to follow.

This is the first in a series of Beaver Pond Caches. This beaver pond has been around for a long time and supports a lot of wildlife. There is plenty of bluegill and bass in this pond so bring you fishing pole and have some fun. Please use the path that goes through the guardrails to get to the path that goes to the right. This is the easiest to cross the creek. Please do not walk across the beaver dam so the dam will not be damaged. There are a lot of trees that were cut down and worked on by the beavers over the years on the way to the cache. This cache is placed with permission from the US Army Corps of Engineers that control the land around Shenango Lake. This cache is about the size of a plastic 2 lbs. peanut jar and contains a lot of goodies including two of my “famous” crappie jigs for FTF. Please put the camo back on the cache when done.
