Celebrate the adventure of Scouting! For 100 years, the Boy Scouts of America has helped youth become more than they ever thought possible. And we’ll continue that journey into the next century.
In the Boy Scout program, boys (ages 11-17) learn and grow through the experiences of camping, hiking, building projects, and community service. Scouting fosters self-esteem, a sense of value and belonging, a sense of accountability, and teamwork. It’s also a lot of fun! The skills learned in Scouting young men overcome obstacles and challenges with courage and character throughout their lives. The cache is easily hidden near the Bill Hart District Service center for the BSA. While you are nearby, feel free to stop in and learn more about our 100th Anniversary celebration.
In addition to Action! Boy Scouts, we’ve hidden four other caches highlighting Scouting programs. Find all five! Search WLACC, Treasures of Scouting. And join us for our 100th Anniversary Celebration. Learn how at Scouting.org/100years.
The cache is a medium-sized tupperware container filled with tradable goodies. It is intended for beginners, so the hint will be a dead giveaway.
