Well it all started when I went to hunt for Popup Pirate's nearby cache Jacobs Ladder. I saw a staircase quite quickly and climbed it. I couldn't find the cache at all but I was so convinced that I was in the right spot that I completely missed the real staircase.
So what was this that I found? It looked like a staircase to me , was there another one? Not only that the top one of it was a fascinating area. I found a place which was such a good hidey hole that I was convinved that the cache had been muggled from it. Not only that but there was a very strange pair of vertical walls. After reading the Jacobs ladder page I wonder if these may be the remains of a vertical ladder ?
Today I returned and found the real Jacobs ladder. I placed my cache in the aforementioned hidey hole. I must admit that looking at it today my staircase was not quite as prominent as I remember it to be (and its certainly not as prominent as the other one), however there is clearly some kind of path to the top and there is the strange pair of vertical walls!
