We'll supply the marshmallows, chocolate, crackers and campfire. You bring the great company.
We've been to every Roughneck Rendezvous so far, and always have a great time. Now, with permission kindly granted from Ocotillo Wells, we would like to offer a bit of a follow-up event for those of you staying coming in early.
Sunday, January 25
6-8pm
Camp area east of the Ranger Station;
Everyone is invited! (Even if you aren't participating this weekend - but why wouldn’t you?) Come on into camp around 6pm (please not earlier) and look for us. It’s hard to say now exactly where we’ll be, but look for the sparkly lights and the geocaching flag on our silver Rav-4. We’ll try to fine-tune the coords once we’re there, but you'll know us when you see us. We will have s'mores makings, maybe some hot dogs (well, definitely the four-legged kind — they're always welcome!) and hot cocoa. Join us for a warm-up event to chat, compare stories, make some plans and meet those folks you’ll be seeing flying by during the weekend.
If you have some extra firewood left-over, we wouldn't mind it if you brought it. We'll be camping here all week before the event, too, if you want to say Hi at any other time.
