I always enjoy finding caches near eating districts, as I tend to
get hungry after, and many times during, a day of caching.
Sometimes I'll eat at one of my favorite restaurants; sometimes
I'll try something new. Sometimes I just want to grab a quick bite
so I can continue caching; sometimes I want a sit down dinner.
Downtown Willow
Glen is a 0.7 mile long neighborhood shopping district in San
Jose which contains about 300 businesses. Here you will find a
variety of restaurants ranging from old style diners to delis to
coffee houses to ice cream shops to pizza to bistros. On Saturday
mornings between April and November, you can shop at their farmer's
market.
If you do grab a bite to eat before or after grabbing this
cache, please mention it in your log. It will be fun to see what
folks ate or drank while in the area.
The cache is in a small 2" x 4" x 6" Rubbermaid container with a
black lid. Initial contents include a geocaching note, logbook,
pen, some small food related trinkets (you don't need to stick to
the theme), and a Susan B Anthony dollar for FTF.
