I was bummed that John wasn't here to help me place our 500th hide, but I know he would approve of an ammo can in the rocks overlooking beautiful Sweetwater Reservoir with an unactivated military coin as FTF! Yup... this is our 500th hide. Out of those 500: 472 are active. 25 were archived (mostly burned in the fire or not welcome in ABDSP and 3 need to be checked on). So....who can claim to have found 1/2 of those??? I parked at the Steele Canyon bridge and had a nice 9(+) mile round trip MTB ride, but I'm sure there are easier ways in... perhaps near Ugly Ugly Ugly? I just don't know about safe parking.
