I choose Bahrain for this special “pony express” cache because of its central location in the Gulf. Visitors to this part of the world are likely to pass here en route to their destinations. I think this is the first of its kind outside North America.
Basically it’s like any other cache but a little more .. You can write your own post card(s) and drop it in the cache. Address it to your geocaching friend(s) where the address will be the nearest cache to their home coordinates. It’s a fun way to send a fellow geocacher postcard that he/she can find in a cache and keep for
good. Since the national post office will not be coming around to pick up the mail, fellow geocachers visiting the place will help move the cards closer to their destinations. You can read more about it here:

I started by dropping two cards to my friends in the US and Canada. Will see how long it will take before they get theirs.
Now to the cache ..
It’s located near Saar burial mounds and is about 580m to
the west of “walk in the graveyard”, (GC17E08); you can bag both on the same trip. It’s a metal box and you may need your car key to open the lid.
