choice1: Again, someone has decided to take the cache container and replace it with a pill bottle and hide it in a place where I hadn't hidden it. The log doesn't even make sense. None of the cachers on the log match up with the cachers who have logged this online. Cache container has been removed on April 3, 2012.

Geocache Description:

Just another micro hidden along a gravel road. Bring your own writing instrument.

We were on our way from Yuma, AZ to Alberta, Canada when we stopped here in Alamo for the night. The next day we heard of bad weather to the north with high winds and snow storms. Not wanting to venture into ugly weather, we waited the storm out for a couple of days here in Alamo. Every person we encountered in Alamo, from the grocery store clerk, RV Park managers, service station attendants, restaurant waiters, and many others were all so very friendly. We've never encountered such a friendly place.

We ended up going down the Extra-Terrestrial Highway to find the caches for the Alien's Head and also some others along the way. We noticed that one cacher had hid almost all the caches along the highway and in Ash Springs and Alamo. That cacher was nvtriker. We thought how boring it must be to only be able to hide caches and not have many to find around home. Nvtriker was also a very friendly local geocacher and made us feel very welcome here.

This cache is hid as a thank you to nvtriker and all the friendly people of Alamo, NV. We really enjoyed geocaching and staying here, even though we are anxious to move on north.
