The Carmel Rest Stop Cache on I-95 south, just 8 miles from Bangor.

The Carmel Rest Stop Cache is located on the southbound lane of Interstate 95 just 8 miles down the road from Bangor. The Carmel Rest Stop is a great place to stretch your legs, have a picnic or walk your pet. Travel information is available along with restrooms and a vending machine area.The Carmel Rest Stop Cache has an abundance of "goodies"including; a Maine Moose shot glass, a Dreamcatcher keychain, a Dale Earnhart Jr. air freshener, a Glow Stick 3-pack, a San Diego Pen, a rubber Iguana,a Where's Waldo Travel Bug, a Mini Little "E" Travel Bug, a Log Book, pen and pencil. The Carmel Rest Stop is the Official Starting Line for the Mini Little "E" Travel Bug !!!
