In the non-winter months you can park at the MDOT roadside park (there are two so use the second one if you are heading north, the first one if you are heading south) and walk the short scenic paved trail to the Oscoda Township public beach area. Take in the view of Lake Huron and the natural beach area. Dip your toes in the cool waters and enjoy the breeze in your hair and the sun on your face. In the winter you can still access the cache but you must use a little caution. It's a good sign.
