The Letterbox hybrid is located South West of the summit of Tyrau Mawr in the Cadair Idris mountain range.
The cache may be approached from a variety of directions, all of which involve steep to very steep climbs and walking boots are recommended.
The cache contains a log book and pen as well as a unique rubber stamp. Please remember to take along an ink pad and paper should you wish to acquire an impressionof the rubber stamp.
After finding the cache, i would strongly recommend a continuation to the summit of the mountain if you didn't go there en-route to the cache. The views from the summit are equal to any in Wales but be careful not to get to close to the Northern edge of the escarpment - it's a very long way down to the bottom.
