Geocache Description:

Want to earn that High-Five for the Earth Souvenir for the Geocaching Road Trip '15?   You can do that helping the San Diego Department of Parks and Recreation watering new plantings along an easy to moderate urban trail.  Several traditional caches are in the area too.

Arrive at 7:45 AM to sign in; help for at least 1 hour or until the event ends at 11 AM.

Meet at 1377 Delevan Drive, San Diego, CA 92104 at 7:45 AM (while it's still cool).  Street parking is available.

The Park Ranger will start the safety and canyon information briefing promptly at 8:00 AM, then lead us to our work locations.   If you arrive late you'll miss the briefing and sign in opportunity.  And you'll have to find us on your own.

The Department of Parks and Recreation will provide: drinking water and sun screen for you, water (for watering the new plants), tools, gloves, trash bags, portable toilets.  The project is watering new plants and weeding around them.

Bring: your hat to protect your face from the sun, bug repellent, hand-wipes to clean your hands, and a snack if you want one.  Wear sturdy shoes.

Please indicate if you will be attending this event so the ranger can have enough supplies and drinking water on site.
