Yost Ridge Vista is one of the Vistas not listed on the "Elk Scenic Drive", but it should be. The 5 mile dirt road is driveable by most vehicles except for a few soft spots in the spring of the year. There is no Winter maintenance on this road. The Cache is located not far from where you will park and should be easily found. The container is stocked with a number of goodies and of course a jar filled with money for some lucky Cacher.
Where am I you ask? Well for the most part you are in the middle of Nowhere in the Sproul State Forest. You are standing in Centre County looking down at the West Branch of the Susquehanna River. Across the river is Clinton County. Now you should know where you are. You are in some of the most remote and beautiful country Pennsylvania has to offer. Enjoy your day.
