Ammo Can Extravaganza~40-30-5 Celebration #1 Event Cache

This event is an ammo can hunt and exchange. This is event 1 in the 5 special celebrations for nessker’s 40-30-5 (40th birthday-30 years fighting cancer-5 years geocaching). Attendees will receive a special treat for coming the day of the event. Attend all 5 events and you will receive an additional special prize. Who knows, there may even be some special PUZZLE information shared at this event as well.

This event is an opportunity to hide your fully loaded, ready to go ammo can and receive the coordinates to pick up one someone else has hidden for you.

To participate you will need:

1. a fully loaded, ready to go ammo can (Not Plastic) complete with everything needed to be placed immediately as a cache – Don’t forget the log book and pen.
2. a new bison tube
3. GPS

We will all meet at the listed coordinates at exactly 8 am and sign the log. You will then go no more than .20 of a mile from that location and hide your ammo can (this isn't permanent so it shouldn’t be hard). Mark your coordinates with your GPS and write them on a slip of paper. Roll up this paper and put it in the bison tube. Return no more than 15 minutes later with your bison and put it in the bucket.

Once everyone is back, we will draw bison tubes from the bucket and set off to find our new treasures! It would be great if everyone could return once more to get a group shot with our new treasures.
