Rib River Park

A cache in a little know park in Wausau




Team Black-Cat

 Rib River Park is not a typical city park. There is no sign at the entrance, In fact, there really isn't an entrance. There are no picnic tables or park benches. Most of the park is ox-bows and sloughs in the Big Rib River. There are, however, some well worn trails winding through the woods. There are a couple of make-shift bridges, and some interesting trail markings that appear to be maintained by the locals.

The cache is hidden very near the path, so please re-hide it carefully. The container is a medium size pill bottle, so it might be considered a micro.
NOTE: The container is rather fragile. Please be careful when opening it. Thanks.
Park in the lot near One Corporate Way. The first fifty or sixty feet of the path is on private property, but permission has been granted by the land owner to use the path to access the park.
