Cache located in the new Peacedale Preserve, placed with permision from Natural Lands Trust who owns this preserve.
Our kids call geocaching "treasure hunting" so this is the perfect cache for your little treasure hunter or just for those who like to explore new easy trails. From the moment we first walked this trail after dinner one evening and saw a bald eagle flying overhead, I knew that this area needed a new cache - easy in and out for strollers, perfect distance, and pretty scenery along the way. Terrain in mostly flat, with a couple of small hills.
The cache is a green ammo box and is filled with trinkets for the kids. FTF will be a new travel bug for someone to use as their own. It should be easy to find, so please don't post spoilers. Please re-hide as well or better than you found it.
Please park at posted coordinates and stay on the trails.
Please be aware that deer management hunts take place at this preserve and wear orange if caching during hunting season.
