Leeds Point Natural Area Multi-cache
Led Zeppole: Bear Babe and I recently moved to southern Cape May County, so I'm no longer able to get up here often. Stopped by this afternoon and retrieved the .30 cal. ammo can that served as stage 2, but I was unable to find the camoed 35mm film canister that was stage 1. If any of you decide to hide a new cache in this obscure little park, the film canister is yours if you can find it! ;) Thanks to all who visited!

Located in the Leeds Point Natural Area County Park, Leeds Point Road (County Rt. 618) in Galloway Twp., Atlantic County.
Welcome to the Leeds Point Natural Area, one of Atlantic County's smallest (4 acres), most obscure and underdeveloped (well, they did put a sign along the road) county parks. Park along the side of Leeds Point Road by the entrance to this little park at 39 deg. 28.531 N, 074 deg. 27.308 W. The cache you seek is a two stage multi. Stage 1 is a micro that contains the coordinates for stage 2, a .30 cal. ammo can. Coordinates were obtained by letting my GPSr average at each location for a minimum of 7 minutes, with WAAS signals being received. The dessicant packs in both stages are not trade items, they are there to control condensation, so kindly leave them in place. This park could use a bit of CITO, if you are so inclined. No opening and closing times are posted for this park but if you should choose to attempt this after dark, please keep this in mind; according to Jersey's most famous legend, the Leeds Point section of Galloway Township is the birthplace of the Jersey Devil. Something to consider if you should hear rustling in the underbrush behind you...;) Good luck and happy caching!
