This is a good stop to stretch the legs and pick up a quick cache. At the NE corner of the park there is a small animal trail that will get you started toward the cache. It's just a short walk, less than a quarter of a mile.
This is a wetlands preserve for water fowl and wildlife. The cache is in an ammo box. When it was hidden it contained a ... hackysack, nail clippers, Chinese checkers, 1st aid kit, toothpick holder, key chain.
