So there were these bright blue pointless stairs I saw every Sunday on my way to tai chi that seemed cache-appropriate. "Blue Stares" seemed like a fine name. But then they painted over the blue and, like, what's the point? But then "Mystery Stairs" appeared and this seemed like the perfect accompaniment. So, voila, and thanks to WeAreGaughen and ponyzpatrol for letting me invade their turf.

A green kinda camouflaged Rx container siting a a unique tuft of grass which is neither pampas nor pompous. Best done during daylight hours. A lovely pin for FTF (which, not surprisingly, went to rammd).

Additional note: since I put this out, the restaurant below changed hands and fenced off its parking lot. Lots of access remains however.

So a took a green RX container to replace the cache on the tree, but damn the tree is gone. In the short run I placed it in a nice tuft.

I noticed that this cache has been temporarily disabled for a period of time well in excess of the period of "a few weeks" as contemplated by the cache guidelines published on Geocaching.com. While I feel that Geocaching.com should hold the location for you and block other caches from entering the area around this cache for a reasonable amount of time, we can't do so forever. Please either repair/replace this cache, or archive it (using the archive listing link in the upper right) so that someone else can place a cache in the area, and geocachers can once again enjoy visiting this location.

If you plan on repairing this cache, please log a note to the cache (not email) so I don't archive the listing for non-communication.

I won't have time to check until after Thanksgiving, so I'll pull this one for now.

We got to the top of the stairs, and nothing was there. Looks as though the hiding place was removed some time ago.
