Can be hiked-to from the trailhead at the West end of Vanowen St in
West Hills. The cache is a camoed heavy duty plastic container
about the same size as a decon kit.
On my first hike from the E into the former Ahmanson Ranch I
reached a VERY small hill with a burned but still living oak tree.
The cache is 1 step off trail at the base of the hill in a place
that I think won't be overgrown in the immediate future.
Where does this trail lead? Don't know. Please explore further
West and place caches long the way!!

A dead end in the trail so not too much traffic or muggles, although one followed me but then turned around when it was obvious that the trail didn't go anywhere. Good for me. TFTC

Backtracked to this one after descending from Upper Ahmanson. Wasn't where I expected it to be, but then, I prefer some semblance of logic or order to my hides. Spotted it after a couple of minutes, however.
