Geocache Description:

This cache is located in Renner's Reservoir. That's right...IN the reservoir. If you don't have the lung capacity to be diving underwater (or some kind of breathing aparatus), I don't reccommend this cache. Also, the reservoir is spring fed, so you'd probably want to attempt this only on hot, summer days.

Items you may need for this cache include: 1.)Boat, only small motored boats and non-motored boats are allowed on the reservoir. 2.)Life jacket 3.)Snorkel with goggles

I would reccommend getting your boat into the cache area, anchoring it, and then putting on your life jacket and snorkel to search arround for the cache. You should be able to see it while snorkeling, but I think it might be tough to see it from the boat. There is also a lot of panfish and bass in this reservoir, so if you feel like fishing afterwards, I hear they bite on just about anything around dusk. The fish are also a lot of fun to just follow around while snorkeling.

The cache itself is located in a deep hole, away from all the seaweed stuff. I used an anchor to keep the cache underwater. I have a caribeaner-type hook, that the cache is tied to with a string. Once the cache is unhooked, the hook will stay afloat with some bottles that are tied to it, so you don't have to dive all the way to the bottom to retrieve the hook to tie the cache back on once you are done with it. I hope that all made sense.

The cache is a 4" diamater by 15" long white pvc pipe. I'm am fairly positive that the contents will remain dry. I can't really remember everything that I originally put in the cache, but it was pretty much the typical stuff. Some of it was more fishing oriented than others.
