Our First Cache (With a View!) Traditional Geocache

This cache has been archived.

CTReviewer: Greetings from Geocaching.com

I have been looking at caches in the area that have been temporarily disabled for a while now and it looks like your cache has been under the weather for some time. While I feel that Geocaching.com should hold the location for you and block other cachers from entering the area around this cache for a reasonable amount of time I don’t think we can do so any longer. Therefore, I have archived this cache. If you haven’t done so already, please pick up any remaining cache bits as soon as possible.

When repairs to this cache are completed and it is time to have it reposted, it will be no problem. Just drop me a note and let me know the GC waypoint number of the cache or better yet, the URL of the cache page. You will still be able to access your cache page just as before by going to your “My Cache Page” and clicking the link of your cache.

I will be more than happy to take a look at your cache again to see if it is still is within the guidelines of the Geocaching.com website for cache placement and posting.

I want to thank you for the time that you have taken to contribute to geocaching in the past and am looking forward to seeing your cache up and running in the future.

Thanks for your understanding,
CTReviewer

Geocache Description:

A quick walk on the beach, and a very short climb up some rocks. A lock and lock container covered in black duct tape, hidden from sight. High tide means you will have to do more rock climbing, so it can be considered at least a 3 at that time.

Our first cache hide ever. And it has a view!

Update: Parking is via Lot Across from The Beach. I received a ticket (AND I had a Parking ticket, albeit expired.). I didn't realize this entry didn't mention that. So Again, please park across street in Public Lot. Thanks!

A lovely view of the sound, and Charles Island. The beach is a very popular spot in the summer, so beware of muggles, and as always use caution and stealth! The beach parking lot has no hours posted and as such, the parking lot is a hot spot for kids during the summer; between the hours of Nine and Twelve at night. The walk is a very short one, over slightly rocky terrain. You might have to climb for a bit to find the cache, and during high tide, you will have to climb early. The Hint/Spoiler is a dead give away, so only read in extreme distress. I don't see you needing it, since the coordinates should lead you right to it.
The Property Above the Cache may be private property. There are no signs designating it, but its possible. Please stick to the beach, as you don't need to go on the grass to find this cache.
Container is a small Lock N Lock container, covered in black duct tape. Please, for your safety, and everyone around you, please do not park on the road near the cache. Its way to narrow, and people go way to fast on that blind corner.

First to Find gets to choose between a five dollar bill, or a pirate deck of cards (Complete with coin and case!). We recommend spending the five dollars at nearby ice cream shop (Which is a local favorite)

Happy Caching, and good luck!

P.S. We forgot a pen! Will try to bring one out, but you might want to bring one with you, just in case we cant fit it. Its pretty tight in there.

I recommend checking out some other local Caches while your in the area (There are Tons more! These are just closest):
