Top of Africa at 5894m
The cache is a 2 Litre plastic ice cream container with a log book
(oops no pencil so next person please take one up!).
Cache is approx 100m away from official summit boards on the
western breach side overlooking the crater.
Small note on cache maintenance: A friend who
runs an adventure company is here once a month, and will assist
with any needed maintenance. Contact info on file with
geocaching.com.

could not find this one as (belive it or not) there was to much snow on the summit. - spent about 10 minutes looking for it was all the goods spots were covered with snow and the edge of the rock cliff was slippery with snow - thanks anyway

I reached the summit at 7:20 am, but we didn't stayed for too long up there. Altitude sickniss was brutal, so I didn't searched for this cache... Maybe next time!...

Hi I drop a virtuall GC at the top of Kilimanjaro. I reached Uhuru Peak in January 2007 before I learned the thing abot geocacing. This will be the closest for me to make a cache hunt on Kili. This coin will be handed over at a event in Sweden tonight and it's just a restplace in cyberspace for this coin. So to all of you that are going for Uhru Peak just Pole pole. Good Luck!
