The cache contains a log book, and pen, and a bunch of mostly
micro-caches that are ready-to-be-hidden by you. These caches come
with logs and the official geo-notice. Take a few and we look
forward to finding them. We will replenish the micros as necessary.

The Lafayette Reservoir is located off Mt. Diablo Boulevard on the
west end of Lafayette. Completed in 1933 the reservoir is a standby
supply of drinking water for East Bay Municipal Utility District
(EBMUD) customers. The 925-acre site with 1.4 billion gallon
reservoir was opened to public recreation in 1966 with hiking,
fishing, boating and picnicking. There is a $6.00 per vehicle
entrance fee for parking; however, you can use the metered parking
which is 25 cents per 15 minutes (maximum two hours).
