How Geocaching Works
Gilroy park within 30 feet of cache. Back alley driving.
Urban oddity. You have a tiny, old, neglected cemetery hidden amongst the back alleys of Gilroy. Many of the local founders, including the founder of the local Catholic church, are buried here. Pretty cool from a historical point of view. The cemetery was apparently the original Catholic cemetery - then Gilroy grew around it. Now the cemetery is cyclone fenced, locked, and inacessible. You can still read the names and dates
Cache is micro, so small trade items only. Stealth required. Homeless people are sometimes in the area. You can get a good GPS signal from about 50 feet away. Take a reading from that distance and ignore the wild swings you get as you close in. There are many possible hiding places. No bushwacking, climbing, trespassing required.
