Geocache Description:

Located at Duluth's "Woopie Wall", an area for climbers to practice their skills. Provides nice views, and is only 30 feet from the road. Small container, no room for much more than a log and pencil.

The Woopie Wall (Why it is named that I'll never know) is a rock formation in Duluth that many local climbers flock to in warm weather. It's got all sorts of different situations, even crack climbing. I've climbed here and practiced my pro placements quite a few times. It is my understanding that this is city property. Over the years, local disgruntled neighbors have spray painted various things, including "No Climbing" on the side, only to have the city clean it off. The cache is a small container, larger than a 35mm container, but not much room for anything to trade other than small coins.Once you find the cache, take a few minutes to explore the rock itself (with care!). There is cool glacial and water erosion evidence in the rock. Enjoy the view as best you can. The air may smell of wood chips in the summer, in the right wind. Please be certain to replace the cache as you found it and conceal it as best you can. Local kids come up here quite often, and maintaining the level of camo is essential. The FTF prize is a quarter... Congratulations! Go buy yourself a gumball or 30 minutes on a meter downtown. ;)
