As of July 2004 they now charge an entrance/parking fee.
Have you ever wondered what was at the end of this trail in Towsley Canyon? No? Well I have, and now I know.
Now there is a reason for you to find out also, and log this cache while you're there.
You can view the attached map to see where you will be going. The one-way hike is just under 1.5 miles with about
400 feet elevation gain.
To get to the cache you should park at the Ed Davis Park parking area. Follow the service road and go past The Narrows, you will be passing a few caches along the way. Once past The Narrows you want to keep to the right following the lesser-traveled trail, you will soon cross back over the stream and will be heading back up the service road. Follow this road up until you reach the gate, the cache is nearby.
You should wear long pants because this road is seldom traveled so there will be lots of weeds that you will be walking thru. Bring plenty of water, as there is no shade along the trail after passing The Narrows.
Original contents are: a sleeve of new golf balls, a putt perfect tool, an indoor/outdoor thermometer, an Aquarium
of the Pacific sticker, clankers, a pack of Pokemon cards, suntan lotion, a park map showing you where you are, a
First ribbon, and the usual geocaching sheet, log book, pen, pencil, sharpener.
