The Pea Glacial Habitat Restoration Area is a 244 acre parcel of WDNR land, managed for production of waterfowl, wild pheasant, and non-game songbirds. In an era of ever increasing rural development and disappearing farmland and wetland, these areas are critical for the feeding, nesting, and overall survival of birds and other wildlife.
This is the fifth of many "Room 2 Roam" cache placements, and is on the southern end of this parcel. Access is from the Wild Goose Trail. These are not park 'n' grabs and can be wet during different seasons of the year (especially this one!).
Enjoy the trek and watch for wildlife!
The Geocache Notification Form has been submitted to the DNR Office in Oshkosh.
