Geocache Description:

The Cache container is a painted Ammo Box with numerous trading items in zippered bags, there is no FTF certificate so take your choice of any "one"  item in the Cache.

The following directions to the cache site are comprehensive as the gpsr in this area was not as accurate as one would like. You will have no problem finding the cache, even without a gps.

The trail you want to access is directly across the road from the British Columbia Forest Service Tamihi Campsite. As you enter the trail take the fork to the left which will head toward Tamihi Creek, you will follow the creek upstream. As with all hiking near cold fast flowing mountain streams please use caution,  you are in no danger if you watch your footing.

The above co-ordinates will lead you to a very steep hill or almost wall, where it appears the trail does not continue. At the base of  this wall you will see a large tree with a small piece of surveyors tape nailed to it about chest high.

At this point look North West (your right) you will see a very large stump and fallen tree, proceed to this stump. The cache is located under the fallen tree near the stump. Reach over and under the lower branch.

The placement of the cache in this location was not intended to just give a cache to hunt but to bring you to a very lovely spot, the trail does continue on although I have not taken it beyond this point. In the heat of the summer you can go for a refreshing swim in the larger pools in the creek.

Since I have almost led you by the hand to the Cache, please do enjoy some time at this location, savor the views and be sure to bring your camera.
