PLEASE DO NOT DRIVE UP TO THIS CACHE! It is located in the reseeded area of the Waterfall fire of ’04. It’s not that bad of a little hike from ample parking.

I hiked up with the ammo can and placed this on my lunch break. I can remember when Carson Street was only 2 lanes, and the Railroad Museum had only one building, and there was a LOT more sagebrush down there. Wow, a lot has changed up here.

This is a nice view of the south end of Carson. I always thought it was funny how the train rides at the railroad museum do this tiny little loop around the buildings. I thought the train would be fun until I saw that it doesn't go anywhere. Now that the new V&T is open with daily trips to Virginia City that sounds like a lot of fun.

I almost didn't commit to this one. As I parked, I caught sight of a rather large snake crossing the path. Glad I did, what a view!!

Parked on the street not far away and had to jog up the hill since I was running out of play time. Interesting views from up here. THANX!
